Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution (ナルト- 疾風伝ナルティメットストームレボリューション, Naruto Shippūden: Narutimetto Sutōmu Reboryūshon) ist ein von CyberConnect2 entwickeltes Spiel der Ultimate Ninja-Serie. Es wurde vom Publisher Namco Bandai Games für 2014 angekündigt.[1]

Gameplay

Es soll diesmal mehr als hundert unterschiedlich spielbare Charaktere geben. Außerdem hat Masashi Kishimoto exklusiv für das Spiel einen neuen Charakter entworfen.[2] Es wurden verschiedene neue Kampfsystem Arten angekündigt.[3] Es wird einen „Ultimate-Jutsu-Modus“ geben und zudem sollen erstmals sogenannte „Combination Ultimate Jutsu-Angriffe“ ausführbar sein, bei dem mehrere Angriffe der Kämpfer kombiniert werden können.[3] Ebenfalls wird es wieder einen zweistufigen „Awakening-Modus“ geben. Des Weiteren gibt es einen neuen Spielmodus, das „Ninja World Tournament“. Darin tritt der Spieler in einer Kampfarena gegen drei verschiedene Computergegner an. Nachdem der Spieler die erste Schwierigkeitsstufe, den D-Rang, des Turniers erfolgreich absolviert hat, wird eine weitere Extrastory freigeschaltet. Diese hat den Namen Mecha-Naruto und ist eine, vom Anime nicht adaptierte Story, die dennoch auf das Grundprinzip des Ninja-Weltturnieres aufbaut. Die Protagonisten dieser Story sind Naruto Uzumaki, Hinata Hyūga und Mecha-Naruto. [4]


Ninja Eskapaden

Ein weiteres Feature, das dieses Spiel besitzt, sind die Ninja Eskapaden. Bei diesem Spielmodus ist es dem Spieler möglich, drei verschiedene Storys, angefangen bei der Gründung Akatsukis, über die Gesichte von Itachi Uchiha und Shisui Uchiha, bis hin zu einer kurzen Story, in der die Beziehung von Obito Uchiha zu seinem alten Team und Kushina Uzumaki, der Frau seines Senseis, gezeigt wird. Anders, als beim Ninja-Tournament Spielmodus, kann der Spieler hier nicht frei in der Spielgegend herumlaufen. Die Story wird erzählt, indem echte Animesquenzen extra für dieses Spiel angefertigt wurden sind und abgespielt werden. Dem Spieler ist es möglich, viele Charaktere durch Absolvierung der Ninja Eskapaden freizuschalten.
